Jennifer has an inherent, natural gift in the area of communications and over the years has worked extensively in a consultative and executive leadership capacity within a range of sectors across government, private sector and non-profit entities. She has helped to bring clarity to organisations’ communications, marketing and public relations goals under the HighMax Consulting Brand, a PR, and Marketing Communications boutique firm which she founded in 2008. She facilitates workshops and training seminars in marketing and public relations, provides oversight and management of strategies for varying initiatives and campaigns, the fostering of community and corporate relationships and the alignment of public relations, and marketing tools for the optimization of stakeholder influence, response and buy-in on behalf of clients.
Her work over the years, including the Caribbean’s first premium family stakeholder tradeshow, featuring top local and global speakers, exhibitors, distributors for leading international consumer brands, top physicians in family medicine, obstetrics, and education, and has been featured in leading local and regional news publications and television programs. Her portfolio currently involves strategic communications & stakeholder engagement for Caribbean Israel Leadership Coalition (CILC) an NGO of the Caribbean Israel Group, headquartered in Barbados, including Caribbean Israel Venture Services (CIVSI) and Caribbean Israel Finance, (CIF).
Jennifer has a ferocious appetite for learning; as a continuous learner within her field of Public Relations and Marketing Communications, she has honed over 20 years of knowledge and experience. She holds a Masters Degree in Global Marketing and International Sales from Edinburgh Napier University Scotland and a Diploma in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations from the University of the West Indies (UWI) CavehillI Open Campus. She has also completed certificates in Project Management with the InterAmerican Development Bank, (IDB), Marketing and General Management for Small Business with the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BAMP), and Global Diplomacy from the University of London & SOAS University of London, among others.
She holds firm to the philosophy that “real progress occurs when we each reach back and enable others along the journey using our God-given talents, skills and experience” and is committed to her life vision, which is to give effect to humanity realising their fullest potential and being of global value. Jennifer currently resides in Barbados.
